A business requirement may arise for removing or deactivating a level. To flag a level, and it's sublevels as inactive requires that these levels contain no files. It would be a time consuming and onerous task to delete each file one by one from each level. The solution to this problem is the Levels Remove option. This password protected feature, access to which is controlled via user groups, allows a level to be deactivated even if it contains active files. This action cascades to each sublevel. Every file in each level is deleted and the level is marked inactive. This level will not appear anywhere within the system. However it will be visible in the level maintenance form as shown below and may be re-activated if so required.
